Savannah, GA (July 13, 2011) - Paddle Savannah, LLC , a company owned by Landings residents Pat Brooks and Paul Johnson is hosting the inaugural “Paddle Savannah SUP Splash Race” at 1:30 pm at The Landings' Delegal Marina on August 20, 2011.

The race will be sanctioned by the World Paddle Association and will bring recreational and elite racers from the region to Delegal Marina for an exciting 3 mile and 6 mile event. The race will be part of the SUP Splash Series and is the first significant Paddleboard race to be held in Savannah. Stand up paddle boarding is currently the world’s fastest growing water sport.

Paddle Savannah, LLC will donate a portion of the event proceeds to Skidaway Farms. This is a spectator friendly event and there will be beer, wine and food available for sale. Make sure to mark your calendar for this fun-filled event.
