GETTYSBURG, PA, October 22, 2024 - On Friday, October 11, 2024, Amblebrook at Gettysburg celebrated the grand opening of its Memorial Park with a moving ribbon cutting ceremony that paid tribute to our nation's veterans and their service to our country. The event was filled with patriotic moments, beginning with the call of a bugle as the American flag was raised high into the sky. As a fitting tribute, the Ambleband played stirring renditions of the Military Theme Songs, while members of the Amblebrook Flag Corp then raised the flags of all branches of the military. The national anthem rang out, and the crowd joined together in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, a powerful display of unity and pride for our great nation.
Keynote remarks were given by distinguished individuals, including Colonel Joed Carbonell of the United States Air Force, Isaac Bucher of The Gettysburg and Adams County Chamber Board, and Sara Carbonell, Director of Sales and Marketing at Crown Community Development. Their heartfelt words highlighted the importance of honoring the sacrifices made by our brave military members and their families.
Following the ceremony, attendees had the opportunity to explore the beautiful Memorial Park, a serene and reflective space designed to honor the memory of those who have served.
