Johnson was raised in Lewisburg, WV, and attended Marshall University, where he earned a BBA in Finance and an MBA with a concentration in Finance. After five years immersed in the sporting life community, nestled in the beautiful hills of Appalachia, Johnson felt the magnetic pull of the Lowcountry coastline.
