Combining the Rees Jones-designed Oconee course with accommodations at
The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, again ensures the event will be a one-of-a-kind experience at a world-class venue, where luxury merges with Southern hospitality.
The Reynolds Cup, a 36-hole tournament, is limited to 40 two-person teams, and boasts an impressive lineup of golf and special functions. The itinerary includes:
• Tuesday, Oct. 1. Check in; practice rounds at The Oconee; welcome party at The Lake Club.
• Wednesday, Oct. 2. Opening round; cocktail and dinner party at The Creek Club.
• Thursday, Oct. 3. Final round; cocktail, dinner and awards party at Great Waters.
• Friday, Oct. 4. Checkout.
All individuals playing in the Reynolds Cup will receive three nights’ lodging at
The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee; an exclusive player gift package; practice and tournament rounds at The Oconee course; and all dining, drinks and entertainment.
“The Reynolds Cup is a great experience from the moment you step on the property,” said Randy Harris, Toro’s Director of Marketing for North America, who participated in the 2018 inaugural event. “The facilities are fantastic, the food and beverage are outstanding, and the golf is magnificent.”
Registration is now open at www.reynoldscup.com for $4,000 per team with 10% of all team entry fees benefitting the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation. Accompanying guest packages are also available for non-golfers and include special events during the day, plus all nightly entertainment and dining.
This year’s Reynolds Cup charitable beneficiary is the Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation. Founded in 2014 by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, the Foundation has raised more than $100 million to provide families access to world-class pediatric healthcare. It focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of childhood illness. Jack Nicklaus has enjoyed a long history with Reynolds Lake Oconee, as he designed the community’s Great Waters golf course in 1992 and is currently reinventing the famed lakeside golf course that is set to reopen this fall.
