Okatie, SC (September 19, 2016) - Saturday, September 24, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until to 2:00 p.m., Callawassie Island will be hosting DAY 2 of LoCo Motion – South Carolina’s 3-day breast cancer event.
LoCo Motion is the signature fundraising event for Carolina Cups, a 501c (3) non-profit public charity dedicated to funding breast cancer education, screening, treatment, and clinical research.
LoCo Motion raises money via event registrations, corporate sponsorships, and outright donations.Since its inaugural event in 2011, LoCo Motion has donated more than $200,000 to cover mammograms, biopsies, and live-saving surgeries to local residents.Our by-laws require that 75% of its annual revenues be donated to local and regional providers. The rest of the dollars are donated to national partners.
