Naples, FL (January 6, 2015) — The Isles of Collier Preserve by Minto Communities has received a prestigious Silver Award from the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) National Sales & Marketing Council. The Silver Award for “Best Welcome Center” recognized Minto’s Discovery Sales Center at The Isles of Collier Preserve in Naples, Florida. Minto is one of only five recipients in the entire country and the only welcome center in Florida to be recognized with a Silver Award in this category.
For 35 years, The National Sales and Marketing Awards have paid tribute to superior sales and marketing achievements. It is the nation's largest competition for sales and marketing professionals and communities. Silver Award recipients are finalists for the Gold Award to be presented at the NAHB national gala at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on January 20.
“Every aspect of The Isles of Collier Preserve, including our welcome center, has been meticulously planned to create a sustainable community that embraces nature and an active lifestyle,” notes Minto Senior Vice President William Bullock. “We are honored to receive this significant award that recognizes the extraordinary qualities of this very special community.”
The 7,330-square-foot Discovery Sales Center has been described as more nature center than sales center. A transitional, Old Florida design features a soaring 28-foot reception lobby that opens to a “Neighbors’ Room” with a recreated natural cypress wetland and 14’ tall replica cypress tree handcrafted by world-renowned California-based NatureMaker. The tree’s branches reach upward to a vibrantly hued interpretation of Southwest Florida’s ever-changing sunsets. A rustic boardwalk bordered by displays on neighbors Naples Botanical Garden, Rookery Bay Reserve and others, and a 360-degree photomural of a cypress wetland further enhance the immersive experience.
In another room of the Discovery Sales Center, visitors take a virtual tour of The Isles of Collier Preserve at interactive stations with large touch-screen monitors. Floor-to-ceiling windows look out onto a charming veranda and expansive views of the Cypress Waterway. New homeowners can choose from a wide selection of cabinetry, flooring, lighting and more in the Inspiration Design Center located within the Discovery Sales Center.
The Isles of Collier Preserve is a magnificent 2,400-acre property bordered on the south by Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, on the north by the Naples Botanical Garden, and on the west by Dollar Bay. More than half of The Isles of Collier Preserve — over 1,300 acres of on-site wetland and upland habitats — is dedicated to natural habitat and nature preserve. Preservation areas are connected by a network of recreational trails, bike paths and waterways for kayaking.
