Taliesin Associated Architects, founded by Frank Lloyd Wright, developed the original master plan for this established 8,000-acre private, gated Arizona golf community, which features a unique collection of seven Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses set at an altitude of about 3,000 feet in the spectacular High Sonoran Desert terrain of northern Scottsdale.
This member-owned community encompasses a gallery of custom homes designed by renowned architects, along with an array of club amenities that includes golf, tennis, swimming and fitness facilities and a golf performance center. The development borders the rugged landscape of Tonto National Forest, with easy access to Scottsdale and downtown Phoenix and convenient to restaurants, shopping and nightlife in the Scottsdale, Cave Creek and Carefree areas. The community is within a mile of a private airport with available hangars and is a routine 45 to 50 minute drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
Custom homesites, elegant estates and courtyard homes are available at Desert Mountain and are set among a collection of secluded villages with distinctive qualities to suit a variety of buyers and lifestyles. Membership in the award-winning Desert Mountain Club is not required, but equity membership costs may be included in the purchase price with most property offered for sale. Rentals are available.
